The Equipment Reliability Institute’s subject matter expert, Steve Brenner, offers the three-day “Fundamentals of Random Vibration and Shock Testing Training” open course from April 05 – 07, 2022, at WESTPAK’s accredited test laboratory in San Jose, CA.
The training provides information required to plan, perform, and interpret the results of environmental test standards, including MIL-STD-810, DO-160, IEC protocols, and others.
Mr. Brenner reviews Sine and Random Vibration, classical waveform shock testing, drop testing, and Shock Response Spectrum Testing, plus instrumentation, vibration test, equipment, control systems, and fixture design and evaluation.
A visit to the test lab includes demonstrations of the test equipment and many techniques discussed in class.
